The Chefs’ Forum recently showcased Cooktek induction, a Unox combi oven and an Adande refrigerated drawer unit on a purpose-built demo stage at its recent event in London.
At the beginning of this month, the Mayfair Hotel hosted this Galaxy of Culinary Stars at London Produce Show 2015 event, featuring the equipment.
During the day, Indian chef and teacher, Hari Ghotra, demonstrated how to make gobi masallum: a whole cauliflower roasted in a spiced sauce, and this was cooked in the Unox oven.
Other Chefs’ Forum members such as Graham Garrett (West House), Jordan Sclare and Michael Paul (Chotto Matte), Matt Budden and Gareth Bowen (Marriott Hotels), Paul O’Neill (Berwick Lodge), Dan Kennedy (Kent Cookery School) used the equipment for the series of cookery demonstrations too.
